Day of The Dead:CONTAGIUM

Not a Romero remake - but a parallel movie that wants to let us know how the "dead" came to rise. Hmmm...the brilliance of the first set of Romero movies was - you didn't know - it made it even creepier and like events in real life - not knowing sometimes is much much more horrific. Still - i'll check out any Zombie movie I can.

I'm not sure what to make of this. Day of the Dead is my favorite of the three "original dead flicks". I was one of the lucky few who caught the theatrical release when I was 13 years old. Romero has been trying to get funding four a fourth film for quite a while, and in the mean time something like 40 million was spent on that bullshit remake of Dawn. Imagine what Romero could do with that kind of dough. Whatever, Zombies rule, count me in.

Dawn Of The Dead reamke was by far the best version, i mean, shuffling zombies are'nt exactly scary are they? these new zombies kicked ass. as far as a remake of Day Of the Dead, i've never heard anything about it, if there is lets hope they make the zombies like the one in the remake of dawn.

I have seen scenes from "contagium" and it looks like a cheap , stupid attempt at trying to cash in on the whole "dead" movies. It should go right to home video, and then forgotten about, what a piece of crap...How can you make a "preqel" to a dead movie to explain the dead, when it is suppose to be prior to Day of the dead? uh ever heard of Night, and Dawn of the dead? Total idiotic idea.. Keep it it looks about as exciting as howard the duck..
